Autumn news!

September 20th, 2011

Time is moving on and Autumnal weather is well and truly here. The rooms are all busy with their projects. And the annual pumpkin compitition is looming!!!!!! and the staff are very excited about this.

Welcome to all our new babies, we look forward to lots of cuddles ahead. The babies are making a lovely Rainbow with their hand prints, so it has been slightly messy in the room! Could we also remind people to bring in family photos for our tree.

We have a number of new 2-3’s who are settling in well and are joining in with the fun.  The group have been making a lovely new birthday board and would now like to encourage any parents who have ideas for displays to come forward as we would love to hear them!

The Pre-School group have been very busy and the castle project has been developing well with all the children’s ideas being incorporated and the  Anti-Pre-School group are all happily settled into the room. Could parents please remember to bring in family photos for our tree as some of the branches need filling!

The After-School Club are concentrating on Autumn and its festivals. So leaves will be everywhere! Also the ‘tatty’ holidays are fast approaching and an activities list will be available nearer the time.

Finally could we remind all parents to bring weather appropriate clothes for their children and please label all clothing so that there are no mix ups.

Summer

July 22nd, 2011

The summer holidays are flying by and so is any chance of good weather! All the holiday clubs are having a fab time and when there has been warmer weather, the paddling pools have been up and running and our budding Picasso’s have been outdoor water painting. The Kids club have had a number of fun visits including a police station, Johnsons and the beach and future visits include Cooper Park and the childrens ward at Doctor Grays.

The office staff would like to inform you that invoices are now available on an e-mail service, so if you would like your monthly invoice e-mailed to you from now on please either speak to Libby or Alison.  And finally for those of you who are having a summer break, enjoy and we shall see you soon.

New Invoices

June 17th, 2011

We have just installed a brand new childcare management system that allows us to track bookings much more accurately and to provide you with much better invoices and information about your bookings and your account. We can now send you financial information about your account in 3 ways:

  • An account summary and full invoice
  • Just the account summary
  • An account summary and full invoice by email

In an effort to save trees and get invoices to you more quickly, we would like to email as many invoices as possible. If you would like to opt out of paper invoices, please email us. You can always ask for paper invoices to be sent to you in the future and you can pick up invoices and summaries from the office at any time.

3-5 rooms Library

January 29th, 2010

It would appear that there is some confusion with library and how the system works. We hope to clarify this for all parents. Children have been given a bag with their name on a label and their designated library day is also on the label. Each week your child should bring the bag on their day and it should be placed in box in the library. From now on once they have chosen their book it will be placed in their tray and can be taken home at the end of the session. Library times are 9.15-9.30am and 1.15-1.30pm, if your child arrives after these times please remind a member of staff that it is their library day. If the bag is not brought in on the designated day then the book can be changed the following week. Please note that library times do not operate during holidays or in-service days. If you have any queries please do not hesitate in asking a member of the team. Thank you
